(optional instrument) An additional option for seating
the rod is the Rod Reducer. Slide the end of the rod
reducer over the rod and onto the head of the polyaxial
screw until it snaps into place on the screw head.
Repeated operation of the handle will gradually reduce
the rod into the screw head. The Long Set Screw
Inserter can then be used to insert and seat a set screw
in the screw head. To remove the Rod Reducer, pull the
trigger to release the outer sleeve. After the sleeve is in
the fully retracted position, the Rod Reducer is removed
by rotating off of the polyaxial screw head. (note if the
Rod reducer needs to be removed without a rod and set
screw installed, a short rod will need to be placed in the
head of the screw with the rod holder to provide
counter torque while removing the persuader.)

Insertion of Set Screws:
Once all the rods have been seated in the pedicle
screws, use Set Screw Inserter or Double Ended Set
Screw Inserter and place set screws onto the tips of the
inserter and insert into the head of the pedicle screws.
Do not final tighten until all adjustments are performed.
Final tighten should only be completed with the torque
wrench driver below.

Compression/Distraction:
After the construct has been assembled, segmental
compression and distraction may be carried out using
the Compressor or Distractor.
