Final Tightening:
The final tightening will consist of the Counter Torque
Wrench and T-Handle Torque Wrench Driver. The
Counter Torque Wrench engages the rod and screw
head, while the T-Handle Torque Wrench engages the
set screws. Rotate the T-Handle Torque Wrench Driver
until the limit driver produces an audible and tactile
click indicating final tightening is achieved. The torque
limit is set to click at 12N-m (106in-lbs).
Cross Connectors:
Use the Calipers to measure the distance between the
two rods. Choose the cross connector of appropriate
length. Assure the cross connector set screws are not
advanced to ensure fully seating of cross connectors
onto the rods. Use the Cross Connector Screwdriver to
engage the cross connector and insert onto the rods.
Once fully seated, use the Cross Connector Torque
Wrench Driver to torque each screw until the limit
driver produces an audible and tactile click indicating
final tightening is achieved 4.2N-m (37.5 in-lbs). Torque
the center set screw only after both rod set screws have
been torqued.
