Parkside Football Club 1897/2017
"There's a real challenge ahead of us. Everyone's excited because it's finals time."
The Magpies made sure of top position by easily accounting for Seddon-Yarraville on Saturday.
The team romped home by 82 points.
Tough half-back flanker Mark Folwell played a sizzling game.
It's an exciting time in Folwell's career — he recently played his 250th game for Parkside.
Other stars included Sami Sir, Craig Browne-Kerr, Greg Karcoushkas, Michael Tunzi and Michael
Cammerino.
O'Keeffe is happy with this weekend's bye.
"We're quite happy we've got the break simply because we've got a hell of a lot of injuries," he said.
They will play the winner of Saturday's qualifying final between Port Colts and Spotswood.
And what a game it promises to be.
A beauty.”

Interchange specialist Ashley "The Ox" Hervatin climbed out of his sick-bed to kick six goals at full-
forward as Parkside booked a spot in the grand final by scoring a thrilling win over Port Colts in the
second semi-final at the Yarraville Oval on Saturday.
The flu-ridden Hervatin played the game of his life — shrugging off several opponents, including
superstar Jason Smith — to kick the Magpies to victory in a best-afield display.
He got his chance early due to the ankle injury suffered by Chris Karazakis in the opening minutes of
the big game.
