"Anything less may not be good enough."
Larkin has his injury concerns with Glen Williams (shoulder), Matthew McBroom (shoulder) and
Dean Piggott (groin) facing a race against time to be fit.
No such problems at the Merv Hughes Oval for O'Keeffe.
"There's a few ifs and buts, but we'll be at full strength," he said.
O'Keeffe declared clever rover/ forward-pocket Joey Patterson (knee) a definite starter.
"He's 100 per cent," he said.
O'Keeffe admitted he faces a "bloody tough" time when he sits down to pick the side tomorrow
night (Thursday).
"There's definitely going to be a few disappointed blokes," he said.
Saturday's grand final promises to be a ripsnorter — two talent-laden teams with an arch rivalry
going head-to-head for the FDFL's ultimate glory.
Ace Parkside centreman/half-forward Dennis Ryan will be a player to watch.
He absolutely killed the Borough in the round 15 game. If the champ in the No. 19 guernsey fires, the
Magpies will fly high.
But he has plenty of talented teammates, including back-pocket Sami Sir, half-forward Michael
Cammerino, centre half-forward Craig Browne-Kerr, rover Ali Taleb and ruckman Paul Burgess.
Larkin will be hoping for his stars to turn it on — rover Stephen Pearce, full-forward Jason Clarke,
centre half-back Jason Smith, centre half-forward Steve Quinn and half-back flanker Rick Mantle.
Smith is adamant both sides will play "like there's no tomorrow".
Smith is one of the leading fancies to win the prestigious Herb Pascarl Medal — the FDFL first
division's version of the AFL's Norm Smith Medal.
Milne's tip: Parkside by 14 points.”
