The final edit of the video was entitled ‘An Introduction to Effective Coaching - with
Paudie Butler, GAA Coach Education Master Tutor’, and was published to the GAA

Learning Youtube Channel at in May 2016 (Video 4.4).

To elicit feedback on my video, a viewing was conducted with my MEME Programme
peers and Supervisor, Dr. Yvonne Crotty, on October 15th, 2016. I was delighted that

several of my peers identified that they had a real emotional connection with my video

as highlighted in the following journal entry:

‘In Class on October 15 I was delighted when one of my classmates Pauline said that
she found it quite emotional, and that it got so much of her understanding as a GAA
woman of the value of the GAA across. Aidan stated that the video wanted to make him
start coaching after watching it and to use more shots of Paudie coaching. John, the
expert Tutor on the course commended the final coaching shots too. This feedback
really made me feel I was on the right track.’

However, there was also some confusion around the name of the model and that it
implied that there were ten elements, as well as some criticism of the setting as

documented here:
