NON-SOLICITATION POLICY
We and the client recognize employees may have interests in events and organizations outside
the workplace. However, you may not solicit or distribute literature concerning these activities
during working time. Working time does not include lunch periods, work breaks or any other
periods in which you are not on duty. Because the bulletin board at each client location is the
client’s way of communicating with employees, you may not post any item on a client’s bulletin
board or intranet without the client’s consent.
TELEPHONE SYSTEM
Telephone systems are for business use only. You are expected to keep personal calls to a
minimum. If you must make or receive a personal call, please keep your conversation brief.
Extensive personal use of the telephone provided for business is grounds for discipline.
USE OF PERSONAL CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
PERSONAL CELL PHONES
Our clients may have policies relating to cell phones in the workplace. You should ask your
supervisor whether the client has a policy regulating personal cell phone use.
When using your personal cell phone, we expect you to keep personal conversations to a
minimum during working time. While occasional, brief personal phone calls are acceptable,
frequent or lengthy personal calls can affect productivity and disturb others. For this reason, we
generally expect employees to make and receive personal phone calls during breaks only.
CELL PHONE ETIQUETTE
If you share office space, be sure to put your phone on silent mode. Do not take your cell
phone into meetings or interrupt a conversation with a coworker to answer your cell phone.
PERSONAL CAMERA PHONES AND OTHER RECORDING DEVICES
You may not use the recording device on your cell phone to record workplace conversations,
take pictures of confidential documents or take pictures of coworkers without their permission.
CELL PHONE USE WHILE DRIVING IS PROHIBITED
We are concerned for your safety and for the safety of other drivers and pedestrians, and using
a cell phone or wireless device while driving can lead to accidents. Therefore, you are
prohibited from using cell phones or wireless devices for work-related matters while driving.
