If you must make a work-related call or send or read a text while driving, safely pull over and
stop the car before calling or texting. If you receive a work-related call while driving, ask the
caller to wait while you pull over safely and stop the car. If you are unable to pull over safely,
instruct the caller that you will have to call back when it is safe to do so.
You may use hands-free equipment to make or answer calls while driving without violating this
policy. However, safety must always be your first priority. We expect you to keep these calls
brief. If you are unable to concentrate fully on the road, because of weather or traffic
conditions or for any other reason, either end the conversation or pull over, safely parking your
vehicle before resuming your call.
VIOLATIONS OF COMPANY POLICIES
If you violate any of our policies or those of a client, your employment with us may be
terminated in our discretion. In most cases, you will not be terminated for minor policy
violations or misunderstandings. We do not have a progressive discipline policy, but do believe
in counseling, written reprimands, suspensions with or without pay and ultimate termination.
The approach used will largely depend upon the seriousness of the violation and the overall
circumstances relating to your work history and performance.
RETALIATION
Employees who make complaints under any policy contained in this handbook may do so
without fear of retaliation for making such complaints provided the complaint is made in good
faith. However, if you make a knowingly false complaint or lie to us when questioned about a
complaint made by you, we will respond with an appropriate response which may result in your
termination.
YOUR JOB PERFORMANCE
You contribute to our success or failure. If one employee allows his or her performance to slip,
then all of us suffer. We expect everyone to perform to the highest level possible when on an
assignment.
COMPLAINT RESOLUTION
We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, free of threats to the
health, safety, and well-being of our employees. These threats include, but are not limited to,
harassment, discrimination, violations of health and safety rules, and violence.
