I list (1) security, (2) spontaneity and (3) significance first

because this is where most people live life. But our goal should

be to first live in love (#4). If we live in and give love as we

should, the other needs become lesser.

Now let’s look at these 7 needs, albeit very briefly, and see

how they impact and implement our lives. Recall we need these

needs met to a fairly high degree to be healthy.

I will talk about us meeting each other’s needs,

but also about GOD meeting our needs in these 7 areas.

The problem is that most committed Christians don’t truly live in

gospel truth, and don’t know all God has done in meeting our

needs. I show how God does here on my site:

(1) SECURITY. In any close relationship, we must be secure in

that relationship. We must be certain that it is steadfast and we

can depend on it. We must trust the other person. There must be

consistency in this relationship that is solid.

GOD meets this need for us by giving us absolute, total

assurance of our salvation, so we know we live in him eternally

when this life is over. He also meets this need because the gospel

tells us he has taken away the Old Testament LAW as a type of
