The main thing that you need to understand when it comes to
internet marketing is that there is an approach for every business
model online, you just have to identify which approach is best for
your model and use it. It's as simple as that!
What I mean is if you own a dry cleaning company, it wouldn't make
much sense to create a blog or create "social content" to market
your services. Why? Because most people are not interested in the
life and times of a dry cleaner, it's just not that sexy of a profession.
People are mainly interested in getting their clothes cleaned. They
don't care much about who is doing the cleaning, as long as it's done
right. I'm not saying that it can't be done, but going the 'social' route
to market that business model would be a stretch in my opinion.
We focus primarily on contractors because we know the mindset of
the clientele that are seeking to hire contractors. We know how to
get our advertisements in front of those customers because we
know this industry well. Most 'social media marketing' people only
o er Facebook ads to their clients, (because that's all they know
how to do), even if that approach is not the most feasible in the
short term for every industry.
Facebook ads are very e ective and are great for brand awareness
and positioning, but contractors should use them as a 'long term'
strategy and not a means to generate business in the short term.
Don't believe me? Consider this, when was the last time you hopped
on to Facebook to look for a good plumber? Probably never right?
If somebody needs a plumber today, where do you think they're
going to go? The same place you would go if you needed a plumber
today, to Google right? Exactly! Leveraging the power of Google Ads
is the best approach for local service based companies to generate
new customers, in a matter of days instead of months.
But before you stop reading and run out and start trying to run
some Google Ad campaigns on your own, you have to understand
this rst. Although Google Ads are extremely powerful, make no
mistake, they can be extremely costly and equally ine ective if
they're run incorrectly. Keep reading and I'll give you an example of
what I mean.
