PRIMARY INVESTITURE CEREMONY: JOURNEY TOWARDS LEADERSHIP BEGINS...

Great Leaders Don’t Set Out to be a Leader...They Set Out To Make a Difference.
Its Never About The Role-Always About The Goal.

A solemn investiture ceremony was held on 26th September 2019, to honour the newly
elected leaders in Primary school. The spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the grand
ceremony commenced. All students came well-prepared to don the mantle of leadership with
utmost dedication and commitment. The newly elected student council members pledged to
work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of DGPS while receiving their prestigious
badges of honour from our Principal, Mrs Humera Ibrahim. She encouraged the students to
embrace humility in the face of challenges as they embarked upon their leadership roles.

SENIOR SCHOOL PREFECT INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2019-20: GROOMING FUTURE LEADERS

The Senior School Prefect Investiture ceremony, an event held annually to appoint the scholastic year’s student leaders, was held on September
24, 2019. This year, in its pursuit of innovation and excellence, Dubai Gem implemented a new, restructured Prefectorial Body. Based on the
concept of distributed leadership, the prefectorial body was organised into the following teams: Innovation, Public Relations, Sustainability and
Wellbeing. Rameen Aslam and Partha Shetty were named Head Girl and Head Boy for the academic year 2019-20.
