DGPS CARNIVAL: AN ENTHRALLING EVENT
Saturday, 18th January, witnessed a fun-filled Winter Carnival day in the quadrangle of Dubai Gem Private School. The carnival was open to the
school community as well as the general public. Numerous game and apparel stalls, henna designing, jewellery as well as an aromatic food court
were major attractions. Students delighted the
audience with dazzling performances in the
auditorium and outside.
The evening saw many winners walk away
with coveted prizes such as an Apple Watch, I
Pads and gift hampers. The event concluded
with the much-awaited raffle draw. The carnival
once again reaffirmed the dedication of the
DGPS family in organizing this grandiose
event. Tinkling laughter, boisterous banter and
bright happy faces were ample proof of the
carnival being a mega success!
ETHNIC DAY: CELEBRATING THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
The quadrangle was a delightful sight on the eve of Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Maintaining the school tradition, students and teachers dressed
in stunning ethnic splendor. Senior students of Years 9 to 12 presented scintillating dance performances which enthralled the audience. The
audience cheered as students and teachers walked the ramp.
A live food counter serving an array of mouth-watering Indian delicacies put the entrepreneurial skills of the Post 16 students to the test.
The celebrations were infused with festive cheer and the spirit of Diwali throughout the day!
