WEAR IT PINK 2019
During October, sporting pink accessories has become synonymous with global breast cancer awareness. DGPS has been a front-runner in the
mission to support the cause and raise funds to fight this terminal illness. Door decors and comedy skits created awareness amongst students while
bake sales and basketball matches raised funds for this worthy initiative. All proceeds from the sale were donated to the Al Jalila Foundation, with
the commitment to aid the fight against breast cancer. Max Fardan's poignant speech of personal survival from the dark depths of cancer gave the
audience food for thought.
