Monthly Progress & Executive Summary Reports
In coordination with client, Barr & Barr will establish a procedure
for providing job progress reports. Th ese reports, prepared monthly
by the project manager/project executive, keep the team informed
of project status. Th e report includes the following:
• Financial Status Report
• Updated Project Schedule
• MBE/WBE and workforce participation
• RFI log
• Procurement status
• Safety narrative
COMMISSIONING & PROJECT CLOSEOUT
Barr & Barr’s assigned MEP manager will spearhead our start-up,
commissioning and turnover procedures through the management
of these important aspects from the start. Supported by our in-
house MEP department, engineering services will be provided
to review all equipment submittals for accuracy and adherence
to specifi cations before submission to the designer for approval.
Our MEP department will prepare for turnover of the Science
Center’s mechanical and electrical systems as early as the
procurement process. Detailed as-built documentation will be
kept during installation and submitted to the client in a fi nal
“as-built” documentation format.
