Philosophy
Quality Control Plan (QCP) Summary
Quality Control (QC) is the measurement of observable features against project that emphasizes
specifi c quality criteria during procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
Barr & Barr aims to achieve the highest quality of workmanship through planning, Honesty, Integrity,
communicating, supervising, and testing of a project’s Defi nable Features of Work.
Accountability and
A project’s quality depends on eff ective planning, coordination, communication,
supervision, and testing.

Th is procedure outlines specifi c responsibilities for:
• Barr & Barr ‘s Project Management Team
• Subcontractors
• Suppliers
• Off site fabricators
• Th ird party inspection companies hired by Barr & Barr or the owner

One of Barr & Barr’s primary objectives is to eliminate the direct and indirect costs
of construction defect claims during pre-construction and construction phases.
Each party plays a role in preventing construction defects during the procurement,
fabrication, and construction phases.

Barr & Barr’s Quality Control Plan consists of:

• A dedicated Quality Engineer
• Quality planning meetings
• Confi rming materials requirements prior to purchase
