           19. Estimation of Multitoxin (Modified Romer's Method)

FGlass micro syringe, 10 microlitre (picture - 10)
           SCOPE
To estimate the multitoxin (Ochratoxin, Citrinin and T 2) FPre coated thin layer chromatography plate silica
in feed and feed stuffs by thin layer chromatography. gel (picture - 11)

                                                                FUV Cabinet (picture - 12)
           PRINCIPLE
The multitoxin (Ochratoxin, Citrinin and T2) is extracted FDeveloping Tank (picture - 13)
with Acetonitrile and extract with oil by hexane. The
above extract is extracted with chloroform, dried, FHot Air Oven pre calibrated (picture - 14)
rediluted with Benzene Acetonitrile and spotted in an FHot plate or Water bath (picture - 15)
activated thin layer chromatography plate with
standards and ascertained the concentration by visual
comparison method in Ultra Violet 365 nm viewing
           cabinet.
