VISITATIONS
• State Visit of H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc,
President of Vietnam
NYAA Gold Award holder Mr Tan Yinglan represented
the Singapore Private Sector during the state visit
and witnessed several agreements between Vietnam
and Singapore, contributing to bilateral trade and
investment cooperation.
• St. Gallen Foundation’s CEO Meeting with
the Embassy of Ukraine Mr Tan Yinglan with H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, President
NYAA Executive Director and the CEO of the St. Gallen of Vietnam.
Foundation, Mr Beat Ulrich, met at the Embassy of
Ukraine, discussed providing a platform for the
Ukrainian Government to share information about
the Russian invasion of Ukraine at the 51st St. Gallen
Symposium in Switzerland.
• Meeting with Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for
National Development Meeting at Embassy of Ukraine in Singapore.
Mr Beat Ulrich, CEO of the St. Gallen Symposium,
met with Mr Desmond Lee to express gratitude
for his acceptance to address the 52nd St. Gallen
Symposium in 2023.
• Visit to Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne
NYAA’s Executive Director and Deputy Executive
Director visited the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne
(EHL), the top-ranked Hospitality Management
School. EHL’s President of the Board hosted the visit,
and there were discussions about exploring the NYAA Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland.

• International Swiss Talent Forum (ISTF)
NYAA established a partnership with the International
Swiss Talent Forum in 2018. NYAA has sent student
delegations to participate in the annual forum,
providing exposure to outstanding students from
European Union member nations. NYAA continues to
explore programme development with ISTF to benefit Organisers of International Swiss Talent Forum in Zurich,
young people in Singapore and the European Union. Switzerland.
• Visit by the Swiss Minister of Education
An official delegation led by the Swiss Minister of
Education and Sports visited Singapore and met with
Singapore’s Minister for Education. The delegation
also had a breakfast meeting with NYAA’s Executive
Director and Deputy Executive Director, discussing
various collaborations and expressing gratitude for
