NYAA Gold Award participants from ITE College West
assisted elderly residents in Zhenghua Ward with
cleaning and tidying their homes. The Member of
Parliament, Mr Edward Chia, visited the house and
praised the students’ work.
• Police-RSVP Anti-Scam Engagement
Programme National Day Observance Ceremony.
NYAA partnered with RSVP and the Police to raise
awareness about scams and teach older people to
spot them. An NYAA Council Member and an NYAA
Award holder spearheaded the initiative.

National Day Observance Ceremony
NYAA’s Executive Director served as the Reviewing
Officer at the MOE Schools’ National Day Observance
Ceremony, reflecting on the year and discussing
enhancements to the NYAA programme.

An NYAA Gold Award holder, Mr Darren Soh, was
invited to present his work at the Order of Love
Arch Conference. NYAA takes pride in its Gold Award
holders’ achievements.
• Good Food is a way to bond the Community
An NYAA Gold Award holder, Lieutenant-Colonel
Lim En, organised a project where older people and Local food fusion workshop.
youth learned to cook local fusion dishes, fostering
intergenerational interaction and bonding.
• St. Gallen Symposium Singapore Reception
NYAA Gold Awardees and Leaders of Tomorrow
attended the St. Gallen Symposium reception, where
they participated in panel discussions and shared
their experiences on the Symposium.

NYAA’s Executive Director chaired the ITE Review
Work-Study Diploma Committee, which offers
practical training programs for ITE graduates to gain
career advancement.
