COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT  - TOUCHING LIVES, MAKING A DIFFERENCE



            •   Community Engagement during the
                 COVID-19 Pandemic
            NYAA  Gold  Award  holders  donated  money  and
            time  to  help  those  in  need  during  the  pandemic.
            NYAA  recognised  the  spirit  of  giving  and  organised
            initiatives to support the community.

            •   REDAS Annual Spring Luncheon                    The spirit of giving during the COVID-19 pandemic.
            NYAA  participated  in  the  REDAS  Annual  Spring
            Luncheon.  Mr  Edwin  Tong,  Minister  for  Culture,
            Community  and  Youth  and  Second  Minister  for
            Law,  NYAA  Executive  Director  and  other  officials
            joined  in  the  panel  discussion on  youth  and  social
            media’s impact. The event brought together industry
            professionals,  government  officials,  and  NYAA
            representatives.

            •   Tobacco Free Generation International
            NYAA  met  with  senior  doctors  concerned  with
            tobacco and vaping addiction. They discussed ways to
            prevent youth from tobacco addiction and explored   REDAS  Annual  Spring  Luncheon,  In-Conversation  with
                                                              Minister Edwin Tong.
            alternative approaches to raising awareness.

            •   Sharing by NYAA Deputy Chairman at Yuhua
                 PAP Branch Office
            NYAA Deputy Chairman, Mr Eugene Seah, was invited
            as a guest speaker to share his journey and reflections
            on sustainability at a community event.


            •   OnePeople.Sg Forum
            NYAA  Executive  Director  and  Deputy  Executive    Tobacco Free Generation International Meeting.
            Director  attended  the  OnePeople.Sg  Forum,  which
            addressed  concerns  about  racial  discrimination  in
            Singapore.

            •   Yellow Ribbon Awards 2022
            NYAA’s  Executive  Director  and  Deputy  Executive
            Director attended the inaugural Yellow Ribbon Awards
            hosted by the Singapore Prison Service. The exhibition        OnePeople.Sg Forum 2022.
            showcased  the  history  and  benefits  of  the  Yellow
            Ribbon  project,  which  supports  ex-offenders  after
            their release from prison. NYAA played an important
            role in providing ex-offenders with an opportunity to
            contribute to society after their release from prison.

            •   National Day Parade 2022 National
                 Education
            NYAA’s  ED  and  Deputy  ED  were  special  guests  at
            the National Day Parade’s National Education event,
            where they witnessed performances by schools and
            national uniformed groups.
