NYAA Gold Award holder Mr Darren Soh is working on
a book titled “60 Years of Public Housing in Singapore”
to document Singapore’s public housing history.

NYAA Young Photographers’ Network members,

The Singapore Land Authority invited Mr Darren Soh
to photograph a unique Yishun project showcased at
Yishun’s heritage site.
• Singapore Mall Generation Book
Mr Darren Soh, Dr Liew Kai Khiun and Professor
Chua Beng Huat contributed to the book “Singapore
Mall Generation”, which explores the histories,
culture, and communities within Singapore’s modern
shopping centres. Launch of Singapore Mall Generation Book.
• Visit by world-renowned Architect
Mr Moshe Safdie
Mr Moshe Safdie, an architect known for iconic
Singapore buildings, visited Surbana Jurong’s new
campus. He works closely with NYAA Gold Award
holder Mr Darren Soh, an Architectural and landscape
photographer.
• World Cities Summit 2022 Mr Moshe Safdie with NYAA Gold Award holder,
NYAA Young Photographers’ Network appointed Darren Soh.

for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development
praised the students for their work.
• Temasek Junior College
Mr Darren Soh, a founding member of the NYAA Young
Photographers’ Network, volunteered to capture
images of the iconic Temasek Junior College building
before its demolition. The college management team Students from ITE East at the World Cities Summit 2022.

• Red Dot Hot Takes
NYAA Gold Award holder Mr Darren Soh participated
in the Red Dot Hot Takes series, discussing hot topics
related to HDB housing grants, BTO flat allocation,
and public housing as a social good with Mr Desmond
Lee, Minister for National Development.
