            The  Sultan  Idris  Education  University  of  Perak
            celebrated  its  100th  Anniversary  in  2022  (1922  to
            2022).  The  university  management  decided  to  use
            the special occasion to send a strong message to its
            students  that  climate  change  is  a  severe  threat  to
            our planet and we need to do something about it.            Mission Terra 2022 Conference.

            University in Indonesia to encourage students to find
            solutions for climate change mitigation.

                 Climate Change (COP27)
            The NYAA Executive Director and Deputy Executive
            Director  were  advisers  to  the  United  Nations
            Environment  South  East  Asia  Youth  Environment
            Network.  They  attended  the  United  Nations
            Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27)
            held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, in November 2022.


            They  engaged  with  ministers  and  government
            officials, discussing NYAA’s sustainability projects and

            culminated  in  a  historic  decision  to  establish  and
            operationalise a loss and damage fund.
