•    Everyday Architecture Modernism
            Mr  Darren  Soh  and  co-authors  Assoc  Professor
            Chang Jiat Hwee and Justine Zhuang contributed to
            a  book  titled  "Everyday  Architecture  Modernism:
            Architecture  &  Society  in  Singapore."  The  book
            explores  the  history  and  impact  of  modernism  on
            Singapore's architecture and everyday life.


                                    LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

            •   Meeting with Mr Chris Morris, Former
                 Director of Youth Leadership Asian
                 Development Bank
            Mr  Chris  Morris  visited  NYAA  to  express  gratitude
            for supporting ADB’s Youth Leadership Development
            Programme. He will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia,
            to set up a youth development program and looks
            forward to working with NYAA after his retirement.
            •   Proposed Training Programme in Oman
            NYAA  introduced  Mr  Eugene  Seah,  NYAA  Council
            Chairman,  to  the  Sultanate  of  Oman  to  share  his
            expertise  on  the  Smart  City  Initiative.  The  Ministry
            of Housing and Infrastructure Development is keen
            to invite Mr Seah to Oman to learn from Singapore’s
            experiences.

            •   Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative
                 (YSEALI)                                                 YSEALI’s Programme in USA.
            NYAA congratulated Ms Cassandra Yip, an NYAA Gold
            Award  holder,  for  being  accepted  into  the  YSEALI
            Academic Fellows Program, focused on environmental
            sustainability and leadership development.

            •   The 6th St. Gallen Symposium Singapore
                 Forum 2022
            NYAA  invited  distinguished  speakers,  including
            Ms  Jacqueline  Poh,  Managing  Director,  Singapore
            Economic  Development  Board,  Mr  Wong  Kee
            Joo,  Chief  Executive  Officer,  HSBC  and  Mr  Warren
            Fernandez, Editor, Straits Times and Editor-in-Chief,
            Singapore  Press  Holdings  to  discuss  the  keynote   6th St. Gallen Symposium Singapore Forum.
            address delivered by Minister Grace Fu on the theme
            of  “Collaborative  Advantage.”  The  panel  discussion
            received excellent feedback from the audience.

            •  Digital Built World Summit 2022
            NYAA Gold Award holder Mr Eugene Seah, Managing
            Director  of  Surbana  Technologies,  was  one  of  the
            global speakers at the summit, discussing planning,
            design, and sustainable cities.

            •  Shangri-La Dialogue 2022
            NYAA  Gold  Award  holder  Lt-Col  Lim  En,  Deputy
            Director (Policy and Operations Planning) Ministry of
