As well as the mastectomy I had to have all the glands
removed from under my arm so I was fully expecting a
wound under my arm as well after the op. However, my
brilliant surgeon managed to do all of it via the boob! So
he’s taken all the infected glands out without even making
a single cut under the arm. I’ve now got no feeling at all
under my arm which is really strange. I can touch my skin
but can’t feel that I’m touching it at all. Could prove
interesting when I eventually need to start shaving me
under arms again lol!

Apocalypse. I have actually just heard someone say "I’m
going to wake up dead one of these days"

BREAST CANCER UPDATE: Following my op last week
I had my bandages removed today by my wonderful
Surgeon and he had good news for me; when he sent all
the removed glands, tissue etc. to pathology it showed the
chemo had already obliterated all the cancer! YAY! No
need to even bother with Radiotherapy. I told you I’d
kick its ass.

EMBARASSING BODY QUESTION:-/
Hot flushes! Anyone else found a really good way to stop
them or deal with them? I’m having them approx. every
20 mins all day and all night and its now got to the point
where my skin is red raw sore from sweating all the time.
