What would you think about it? How about if you saw a
sign saying this:
“FLAT TO RENT - NO BENEFIT CLAIMANTS! NO
STUDENTS! NO CHILDREN!” Do you think any of
these are OK? All of them or none of them. Do you
know which ones are legal in the UK? Is it fine to
discriminate and be prejudiced against some groups of
people but not others? I have seen the 2nd one dozens
of times over the last few months in mainstream estate
agents and listing sites.

Jesus Churyste! Have we really got to listen to the elevator
version of the theme from Doctor Who while we sit in
the doctor’s waiting room?! Who chose this?! ....and now
I’m picturing all these ill old biddies breaking into dance
on the waiting room chairs. Techno! Techno! Techno!
Techno! He is the doctor! Wooop wooop!
Thank God I’m outa there! I thought I was having
auditory hallucinations again at first! A load of old
biddies with bandages n walking sticks sat in a Doctors
waiting room listening to a "Muzak" version of Doctor
Who with drum n base background. I haven’t seen
anything that surreal since the Dada exhibition when I
was Art College.
Can you imagine how hard I was trying not to laugh?! It
even had a robot voice going "He is the Doctor!" and just
me and 15 old folks sat in otherwise silence with
nonchalant expressions. I had to hide my face behind my
hand.
