Furthermore, this will give the reader the opportunity
to step in and investigate thoroughly and systematically
about Imam Hussein (as) and the history of the early
Islamic period. It will orientate ones thoughts, submit
interpretations of the revolution and develop historical
perspectives about this great Imam, and his revolution on
the basis of his research and philosophy not on the basis of
the schools of thoughts or any ideological belief.
This book has been divided into five chapters. The first
chapter deals with the concept of who (Ulu-al-amr) the
Muslims should listen to and obey. The second chapter is
devoted to the causes of the revolution and to what extent
Imam Hussein (as) justified his revolution against the unjust
ruler. The third chapter focuses on the revolution. The
fourth chapter sheds light on Imam Hussein (as) in the Old
Testament and the New Testament and how the events
of Karbala are reflected in the books of the Messengers
of Allah and His Prophets (p). The fifth chapter treats
the opinions of Muslim and non-Muslim scholars and
prominent leaders concerning Imam Hussein’s revolution.
