Cut off one strand from each pair. Tape or heat-seal the ends. Tuck the
remaining single strands twice more, then cut and tape.
TEMPORARY EYE SPLICE
This Temporary Eye Splice is dependable and quick to execute. To be on the
safe side, replace it with a standard eye splice at an early opportunity.
