SUCCESS OF Ei-SAMAY

               The eastern market had been showing a distinct upswing and consistent growth in sales
               of Ei Samay. To accelerate sales, RMD conducted a distribution correction exercise and
               expanded reach by launching a Bardhhaman- Durgapur- Asansol edition. This turned out
               to be yet another feather in RMD’s cap, given the success of the expansion strategy in a
               highly competitive market, which is the heartland of Anand Bazar Patrika (ABP)

               MOVING AHEAD WITH TECHNOLOGY

               RMD has launched a pilot project to test its readiness for adoption of high end
               technology such as tablets to manage market dynamics on a real time basis. This project
               is aimed at enabling real time data entry and processing data, thus facilitating executives
               to review sales performance at any given point of time; Thereby gaining better control,
               time management and positioning BCCL as a techno-savvy organisation.
