• Premadonna Soul seasoning
• pinch of nutmeg
Preparation:
1. Trim stems off collards and discard
2. Wash leaves thoroughly.
3. Slice into 1/4 inch strips.
4. Add in boiling water for 30 minutes. Drain well
5. In a large skillet or sauce pan, sauté onion, tomato and pepper in
drippings until tender.
6. Stir in a just a tiny pinch of nutmeg
Everybody’s Favorite Collard Greens
A Sunday special. Follow my recipe for these oh so good, slow cooked greens that will
be an added highlight to your dinner. The leafy smoky flavor will compliment any dish
you pair it with.
Ingredients:
• 1 bunch of collard greens
• 2 smoked turkey wings or 1 smoked turkey leg
• 1/2 onion, diced
• 1/2 bell pepper diced
• 2 garlic cloves, diced
• 3 cups of water
• 1 tablespoon Premadonna Soul seasoning
