INSTALLATION & STARTUP
Chapter 3 Getting Started
Size Limit Options to Consider
Width Considerations
The minimum building width is 12 feet–3 inches and can not be compromised because the frame
is not the ONLY restriction that limits the width. The side manifold deflection under high pressure
is a definite restriction and can not be allowed to deflect into the wall of the wash bay.
The side walls must be free of all obstructions to a width of 12 feet–3 inches total, 6 feet-
1-1/2 inches from the Saber centerline.
If Belanger Side Kick® dryers are to be installed 14 feet–8 inches is the minimum width at the
exit end,. All of the width considerations and options are described in more detail in chapter 6.
The maximum width is 17 feet wide when using the headbeams from our standard Wall Mounted
and Floor Mounted Frames.
A maximum width of 19 feet can be achieved when using our “optional” longer headbeams.
Due to weight restrictions, this option can NOT accommodate Side Kick® Dryers.
A separate wall mount can be purchased to mount Side Kick® Dryers.
Length Considerations
If building length becomes a restriction, there are a few options available for fitting the system
into a shorter bay. These options can be used individually or together to accommodate most bay
length restrictions. In addition it is important to note that there are compromises that need to be
considered for each option. The image below shows the areas that will require consideration
when installing into a shorter bay.
