Chapter 7: Utilities for DryLite®
Electrical Connections: Connecting DryLite® Motors to Main Power
1) Run the main power line(s) for the Motors out to the DryLite® Dryer Assemblies (Air
Cannon™ and or SideKicks®) and make the wire connections to the motor wires inside the
Electrical Boxes.
CAUTION
It is recommended that a licensed electrician is contracted to perform all electrical installations.
Note: Make sure electrical box penetrations are made with an approved method for wet
conditions. A proper cord grip should be used and installed correctly and a drip loop on
incoming cables is recommended to avoid any water intrusion.
Note: The electrical connections are made with either heat shrink butt splices or dielectric grease
wire nuts.
2) When everything is wired properly, close and seal the E Boxes be cautious to not crimp
down on any of the wires.
3) Test to see if all the dryers are functioning properly by using the Controller to turn on each
of the dryers.
