Maintenance
Drive Belt Replacement and Tightening
6) Remove the three old belts and replace them with three new ones. (part #1BELT800, sold
separately).
7) Tighten the adjustment screw (D) until the belts seam snug.
8) Check back belt tension with Goodyear tension gage (1GAUGE905, shown below).
Deflection Force Scale Span Scale: set his o-ring at 14”
NOTE: NOTE THE PUMP STATION USES 5VX STYLE BELTS, A 4.7” SMALL PULLEY AND
1750-2330 RPM MOTOR. THE PULLEY SPAN IS 14”. THESE NUMBERS CROSS
REFERENCE TO 13.2 LB. BELT TENSION FOR NEW BELTS AND 8.8 LB. FOR USED
BELTS ON THE GOODYEAR CHART SUPPLIED WITH THE TENSION GAGE.
