Maintenance

Drive Belt Replacement and Tightening

CAUTION

When tightening of replacing the drive belts, check oil levels. The oil should be half way up the
sight gauge. Use ONLY Cat™ approved oil (Belanger part #1OIL300)

1) At the MCC, turn off the systems Main Disconnect and lock it out.
2) Remove the belt guard.
3) Loosen the 4 bolts on the motor support. There are two bolts on the pivot side (A1 and A2) and two
bolts on the adjustment side (B1 and B2).

4) Loosen the adjustment Jam Nut (C).
5) To replace the belts, lower the adjustment screw (D) while holding nut (E) screws with a wrench.
If you are tightening only, go to Step 7.
