Installation

Assembly of DXD Y-section

8) After all parts have been welded into place, the angled portion of the Y-Section should be un-
bolted from the mounting plate so that the Plastic Guide Rail Covers can be cut and installed.

Remove fasteners at the circled locations

9) The Plastic Guide Rail Covers should be driven onto the angles from the exit end of the welded
assembly with the notched end first.
10) The plastic covers will have to be trimmed according to the style of Conveyor you have. The
following 2 steps will show how the different styles need to be fabricated.
• If you have a Conveyor with covers on both sides:
1. Trim the covers that are already in place on the Conveyor at the location shown below.
Cutting them here will allow a fastening point for both the existing cover on the
Conveyor and the cover from the Y-Section (shown below).

2. Slide the covers on both sides up until they meet together.

The above steps will help make for a smooth transition from plastic to plastic.
