Installation

Assembly of the 2” Square Tube Y-Section

1) Locate the driver side and Passenger side Y-Section tubes that have the 90° elbows welded to
one end see below). The elbow end is the entrance end of the guide rail. The taller of the two
guide rails is the driver side to match the existing conveyor guide rail.

2) Using a marker, find the center of the Conveyor and project the line onto the Correlator’s main
frame.

3) The inside gap of the Conveyor Guide Rail should match the Y-Section gap at the transition from
angled entrance section to the straight section that will connect the conveyor and Y-Section
together.

vary from site-to-site

The gap between the conveyor and the Correlator will vary from site to site so the tube will have to
be cut to fit between the two (as shown above). The two supplied 24” long tubes will be used to fill
this gap.
4) There are two risers that will support the Y-section at the seams that you will weld together. Place
the risers under the tubing and weld them down to the Correlator and then weld the Y-Section to
the risers.
5) At the entrance side of the Y-Section, the 90° elbows should now be welded down.
