BELANGER Y-SECTIONS
Installation
Assembly of the Stainless-Steel Y-Section
1) Using a marker, layout the mounts (part #102514 and #102361) for the back roller supports. See
diagram on previous page for more details.
2) Find the center of the Conveyor and project a line onto the existing Correlator main frame.
3) Mark two lines on the Correlator frame at equal distances on both sides of center mark. The two
distances should equal the full width of the gap of the Guide Rails.
Note: Marks should be on the exit side of the Correlator frame, closest to the conveyor
4) Mark 3/8” from the exit side of the Correlator main frame angle on the outside of the two previous
marks. This will give you the spot to weld the back roller support mounts.
5) Locate the two entrance end, outside 90° elbows (part #102359). Secure one of them to the 1-1/2”
tall mount (part #6457) as shown below. Secure the other elbow to the 1-1/4” mount (#6127) as
shown below. Both are assembled using 1-3/4” bolts and Nylock™ nuts.

6) Locate the two exit end mounting posts (#102514 and #102361) and secure them to the mounts
(#6128 and #6127) as shown below. Both are assembled using 1-3/4” bolts and Nylock™ nuts.

7) Locate the two stainless steel Guide Rail Sleeves. If you have purchased the Plastic Rollers, slide
them onto the stainless steel Guide Rail Sleeves now. Set the assemblies shown below into
position by setting the roller assembly down on the Correlator frame with the back roller support on
the mark that you made and slide the ends onto the Guide Rail Sleeves.
Before After
The Y-Section should be setting on the Correlator main frame. The 90° elbows at the entrance
side of the Correlator frame and the back roller supports on the exit side.
Note: If you run a straight edge off the Conveyor Guide Rails out over the Correlator, the Y-
Section exit side rollers should line up with the Conveyor guide rails.
