8 VEHICLE CONTROL AND PARKING
8.1 The speed limit is governed by California Vehicle Code basic law: Speed limit not to
exceed safe conditions for the area.
8.2 Parking restrictions are posted within the community. It is the responsibility of the
Homeowner to become familiar with these restrictions and to follow them at all times.
Adequate personal parking is provided with each mobilehome site.
8.3 Vehicles may not be parked on the landscaped portion of any home space. This means
that there will be no parking on any mobilehome space other than the carport side of
each mobilehome space and the carport is to accommodate no more than 2 vehicles.
All vehicles must be able to fit into a home’s driveway without protruding into a
sidewalk, curbing, drainage area or street. Only standard manufactured car covers may
be used to cover cars while left in the carports.
8.4 Additional limited parking is available for guests of Homeowners and is not intended for
use by Homeowners for parking additional vehicles. Under hardship circumstances,
short term parking for Homeowners in guest parking areas may be accommodated with
prior written approval of Management.
8.5 There will be no on-street parking at anytime. Violators will be towed at vehicle owner's
expense. However, RV parking for loading /unloading and/or preparation will be limited
to 24 hours with written notice provided to Management stating date and time parking
will be required. Such parking may only be in front of the Homeowner's home, may not
block or impede the passage of emergency vehicles and must have the capability of
being moved immediately upon notice from management or emergency personnel.
Abuse of such parking will be considered a violation of this rule. Violators will be towed
at vehicle owner's expense after 24 hour written notice by Management to remove the
vehicle.
8.6 Parking of boats, travel trailers or motor homes within the community is prohibited
except where specific RV parking area is provided. Use of the RV area is subject to
availability, an additional fee, and a separate addendum to the rules and regulations.
Upon request, Management will provide the RV Storage Agreement to be read,
approved and signed by the Homeowner.
8.7 Vehicles that will not operate for any reason are not permitted in the community.
8.8 All vehicles must be currently licensed and registered for on street operation.
8.9 Servicing, repairing, car washing on space or other automotive work is not to be
performed in the community.
8.10 Loud vehicles are not permitted in the community.
9 PETS
9.1 Only one domestic household pet is allowed per space subject to the signing of
a separate addendum to the rules and regulations pertaining specifically to pets.
This addendum must be obtained from the management to be read, approved
and signed by the Homeowner.
9.2 Pet enclosures are not permitted, excepting on an elevated porch or deck area of a
home with prior written approval of management. Pets may not be left unattended
outdoors at any time. Doggie doors are not permitted.
