Title: Discussions on the environment

General Purpose:
1. Discuss about enivionment and see if we can make any diffrent.

1. Can a small group of children have affect on others?
2. What can we as a school do for our environment?
3. How can we get our community to care for the environment?

Methods and techniques:
Material: pen, paper, poster and markers
Place: Class room
Duration: 1 hour + 1 hour picking up trash
Description of the activity: Children brainstormed about ways to improve our enviroment. Like
pick up some garbage on the street and put it in the trash bin. They even planed a day that
everybody from the school went outside to pick up trash from the streets and grass.
They talked about asking mom and dad to stop using plastic bags and they made there own
bag from an old T shirts.
The kids talked about bringing old toys and cloths that they don‘t use any more to the
recycling or to friends and family that can use it.
Children made a poster about what we can all do and showed there parents.
Assessment: This did go well and the children were full of enthusiasm about this project and
they were really good in encourage their parents, other children and the teachers.
