Chapter 2 LIFESTYLE
                                                  Obesity And Employment

As you may remember, I was a business person with various staff. I was also obese. I hired many other obese
people based on their ability. BUT THEY DIDN’T MEET THE PUBLIC. As an obese person myself, this was not
intentional. I didn’t wake up at night thinking about it.
But also, these obese people never applied for those customer-facing jobs either.

However, those customer-facing jobs were usually the best paying jobs.

This was THE VERY FIRST Google image that came up when I typed in “OBESE People AT WORK”.

So there are THREE problems: (1) workplace discrimination (2) obesity (3) food snacking during the day

        Which came first ? . . . WHY ?

I purposely left out BUSINESS health costs for young, obese people. We’ll deal
with that later in the book. But to sum it up, it costs MUCH more in health
insurance to hire overweight people . . . . . and significantly more for obese, if
it’s even available . . . this cost is staggering for employers . . . so overweight and
obese candidates are Not Preferred Hires.

IF Government & Medical Authorities Were Right - Why Did Obesity Rise So Rapidly Since 1975 ?
