responsible for accurate attendance records of members at monthly meetings, area,
                              regional, and national conferences.

                       D.     The BUDGET COMMITTEE shall be composed of the Treasurer,
                              Financial Secretary and three (3) additional members appointed by the president
                              and approved by the Membership.  This committee shall plan the yearly budget for
                              the presentation at the first meeting of the fiscal year and conduct an internal audit
                              of the Chapter at the close of the year before the books are submitted for an external
                              audit/review.
                       E.     The FOUNDATION COMMITTEE shall make recommendations for the Chapters’
                              support  of  the  National  Foundation  and  explore  worthy  local  projects  for  the
                              Chapter’s  financial  support  and  participation.  Members  may  provide  proposed
                              amendments to any member of the Board of Trustees of Jack and Jill of America
                                                                  st
                              Foundation no later than December 1 .
                       F.     The BYLAWS COMMITTEE shall review and recommend revisions to the local
                              Bylaws  by  December,  following  a  National  Conference,  to  ensure  that  the
                              Chapter’s bylaws are consistent with the National Constitution and to ensure that
                              no clause shall differ there from; takes charge of all amendments to the bylaws and
                              circulates to all members. All such bylaws and amendments thereto shall be subject
                              to  review  by  the  National  President  or  the  National  Corresponding  Secretary.
                              Chapters are required to submit a copy of their most current bylaws to the Regional
                              Director.
                       G.     The  SOCIAL  COMMITTEE  plans  all  social  activities  for  the  total  Chapter,
                              including  leading  devotions  at  each  regular  chapter  meeting,  and  activities
                              following installation of new members and installation of new officers.
                       H.     The BEAUTILLION COMMITTEE shall plan all Beautillion related activities for
                              total  chapter  participation  for  the  purpose  of  raising  funds  for  the  National
                              Foundation and local charities.
                       I.     The NOMINATING COMMITTEE screens and completes a slate of officers who
                              meet  qualifications  specified  in  the  chapter’s  bylaws;  nominates  members  for
                              honors  and  awards  submitted  to  the  chapter,  prepares  and  distributes  ballots,
                              collects, counts and reports the results at the April meeting and makes arrangements
                              with the Social Committee for installation of officers in May.  The names of the
                              nominees  for  elected  offices  shall  be  presented  to  the  membership  by  the
                              Nominating Committee in March, voted in April and installed in May.
                       J.     The JACK AND JILL WEEK COMMITTEE will plan an annual observation for
                              Jack and Jill Week.
                       K.     The  COURTESY  COMMITTEE  shall  present  to  the  membership  the  general
                              guidelines for extending courtesies to members, their families, retired members,
                              associates and visiting national/regional officers on official Jack and Jill business;
                              facilitates the implementation of those guidelines within financial restraints. Duties
                              will also include acknowledging the bereavement of members.
                       L.     The  Scrapbook  Committee  shall  be  responsible  for  collecting  and  compiling
                              pertinent data pertaining to the chapter and individual members of the chapter for
                              permanent record and chapter display when needed.
