madhye—in the middle; nikuïjäù—groves; kvacit—in some places; eva—
certainly; ; teñäm—of them; kuträpi—in some places; ratna—jewelled;
uttama—excellent; mandiräëi—palaces; kuträpi—in some places;
våndä—Våndävana forest; parivära-çäläù—the other forests which are
Våndävana's associates; sarväsu—in all; dikñu—directions; eva—certainly;
samulassanti—are splendidly manifest.
With many lovely jewel palaces in their groves, Våndävana and
other forests are splendidly manifest everywhere in Vraja.

våndävanaà laukikavad yadédaà
tathäpi lokottara-loka-häri
räjïo yathätyanta-viläsinaù syäd
äräma-ramyatvam ati-prasäré
våndävanam—Våndävana; laukika—ordinary; vat—like; yadi—if;
idam—this; tathäpi—nevertheless; loka-uttara—in the place beyond the
material world; loka—the people; häri—enchanting; räjïaù—of the king;
yathä—just as; atyanta—great; viläsinaù—with splendid pastimes; syät—
may be; äräma—of the garden; ramyatvam—charm; ati-prasäré—large.
Even if one thinks Våndävana an ordinary material place, he must
still admit that Våndävana enchants the minds of Vaikuëöha's
residents. He must also admit that Våndävana's gardens delight the
king that enjoys pastimes there.
