Çré Vraja-réti-cintämaëi

                                vihaìgamä aìgana ullasanti
                               govinda-sandarçana-lälasätaù


               madhye—in the middle; api—also; tasyäù—of the Yamunä; pulinänai—
               the shores; yeñu—in which; kuïjäni—groves; kutrapi—in some places;
               lasanti—are splendidly manifest; teñäm—of them; vihaìgamäù—birds;
               aìgane—in the courtyard; ullasanti-fly about; govinda—of Lord Govinda;
               sandarçana—for the sight; lälasätaù—because of yearning.

            In the clearings of the splendid groves by the Yamunä's shore, birds
            fly here and there, yearning for a glimpse of Lord Govinda.

                              våndävanasyaiva samantato 'syäù
                                sarve 'vatärä iva te 'vatäräù
                             sva-premadäù sva-smaraëena kintu
                               sadyo vrajendor api cittam atra


               våndävanasya—of   Våndävana;   eva—certainly;  samantatah—in
               all directions; asyäù—of the Yamunä river; sarve—all; avatäräù—
               incarnations; iva—like; te—they; avatäräù—incarnations; sva—own;
               prema—love; daù—granting; sva—own; smaraëena—by rememberance;
               kintu—however; sadyaù—at once; vraja-indoù—of Çré Kåñëa, the moon
               of Vraja; api—also; cittam—consciousness; atra—here.

            Everywhere in Våndävana and on the Yamunä's shores, are trees
            that are like the Lord's incarnations, that give the gift of pure love,
            and that make one remember the Lord, making He who is the moon
            of Vraja suddenly rise within the heart.
