                              sva-sväbhiläñeëa gatäç ca yaträ-
                                lapanti nåtyanti milanti tena
                              käntena käntäù kåt-kely-anantä
                              manoratho yäti manorathaà yat


               sva-sva—according to their own; abhiläñeëa—desires; gatäù—gone; ca—
               also; yaträ—-where; alapanti—they talk; nåtyanti—dance; milanti—meet;
               tena—with Him; käntena—their lover; käntäù—the beloved the gopés;
               kåta—performed; keli—pastimes; anantäù—unlimited; manorathaù—
               desire; yäti—attains; manoratham—desire; yat—which.

            In these groves the the gopés meet their lover, Kåñëa, converse with
            Him, dance with Him, and enjoy unlimited pastimes with Him. In
            this way all their desires to serve Kåñëa become fulfilled.



                                         Text 38

                              våndävanänäà vilasad-vanänäà
                            vaikuëöha-kuëöhé-kara-vaibhavänäm
                             våndävanaà näma vanaà guëa-çré-
                              våndävanaà tat katamac cakästi


               våndävanänäm—of Våndävana; vilasat—splendid;  vanänäm—of the
               forests; vaikuëöha—of Vaikuëöha; kuëöhi—kara—making isignificant;
               vaibhavänäm—the opulences; våndävanam—Våndävana; näma—named;
               vanam—the forest; guëa—of auspicious transcendental attributes; çré—
               and of beauty and opulence; våndä—of an abundance; vanam—the forest;
               tat—that; katamat—best; cakästi—is manifest.

            Among Våndävana's splendid forests, which make the splendors
            of Vaikuëöha seem very pale, the very beautiful forest named
            Våndävana-vana is the best.
