BR-28 Brake system – service brake (air pressure)

b. Remove the fixing bolts of the auxiliary air cylinder,
the auxiliary air cylinder, and its support assembly.

3. Check on air tightness of air cylinder

a. Place the air cylinder on the test bench, connect the air
inlet pipe, and block the air cylinder's air outlet with a
screw plug.
b. Turn on the air source switch, fill air into the air
cylinder at 600kPa, and check whether the air cylinder
leaks. If so, change it.
c. Check whether the air cylinder leaks by smearing
soap water onto the outside of the air cylinder or putting
it into water.

4. Install the auxiliary air cylinder along with its
support assembly.

a. Install the auxiliary air cylinder along with the support
assembly onto the frame. Install the auxiliary air cylinder
support fixing bolts and tighten them.
Torque: 86~103N•m

b. Install all the air pipes connected to the auxiliary air
cylinder.
