b. Remove the sealant uniformly around the window
frame with a scraper, with the remaining thickness of 2mm.
Caution
Do not remove the cured sealant completely if not
required. Do not damage the paint layer on the body
surface. If the paint layer is damaged, the damaged
surface should be applied with the paint or rust-proof
paint.

9. Inspect the front windshield assembly for the following cases; if any, replace the front windshield
assembly
a. The front windshield is broken.
b. The front windshield is cracked.

c. The front windshield seal is cracked.
d. The front windshield seal is deformed.

10. Install the front windshield assembly
a. Install the front windshield seal around the windshield
edge.
b. Place the front windshield assembly.

● Place the front windshield assembly in the correct
position with a glass suction disc.
● Inspect and confirm that the entire contact surface along
the front windshield edge is very flat.

● Align the mating marks on the front windshield and the
body.

c. Apply the the reactive urethane black primer onto the
glass mounting surface with a brush.
Caution

● Do not coat excessive bottom paint.
● Allow the primer coating to dry for 5 min or more.

● Do not apply any unsealed primer for later use.
● If any non-specified area is accidentally applied, clean
the primer with a cloth before drying.
d. Apply the polyurethane black glass sealant on the
specified area with a sealant gun.

Caution

● Do not coat excessive bottom paint

● If any non-specified area is accidentally applied, clean
