BW - 50 Body - Windshield, window glass, rearview mirror

Change
1. Remove the wiper assembly (See “Chapter EL Electrical System - Electrical Components - Wipers
and Scrubbers - Wipers, Replacement”)
2. Dismount the sun visor assembly (refer to “Chapter BW body-interior & exterior trim-sun visor,
replacement”)
3. Remove A pillar guard (see “Chapter BW Body - Inner and Outer trims - Side Guards,
Replacement”)
4. Remove the inner roof (see “Chapter BW Body - Inner and Outer Trims - Roof Guard,
Replacement”)
5. Remove the front windshield trim seal
a. Remove the front windshield seal with a scrapper or
a windscreen cutter.

6. Remove the front windshield
a. Place the glass suction disc onto the front windshield and
turn the switch on the suction disc on, to ensure that the
suction disc can suck the windshield.
Warning
Because the glass is heavy and easy to break, it is
necessary to have one or two assistants to dismount and
install it to ensure the safety.

b. Mark the matching positions on the windshield and the
body.
Caution
If the windshield is not re-used, the mating mark can not
be marked.
