e. Install the positioning block on the lower edge of the IN
front windshield.
f. Position the front windshield with a suction disc to align DI
the mating marks and gently press it along the edge.

g. Gently press the front surface of the front windshield to EG
ensure close mating.

h. If necessary, correct the horizontal position of the applied

glass sealant with a scrapper.

i. Secure the front windshield with a adhesive tape until the applied glass sealant is dried. AX
Caution

● Remove the adhesive tape after at least 4h. FR
● Inspect and confirm that the front windshield positioning block is properly installed on the body.
● Inspect the clearance between the body and the front windshield. ST

11. Inspect the front windshield for water leakage; if any, repair it.

a. After the glass sealant is hardened, carry out the leakage inspection.

● After the front windshield is installed, perform a 20min test in a rain test workshop, to inspect the
installed windshield for any leakage; if any, find out the causes of the leakage and repair it; if necessary, BW
re-install the front windshield.

● If there is no the rain test workshop, park the vehicle onto a flat position and simulate the rain test with the EL
rubber hose. The water pressure should be no more than 155kPa. Inspect the installed glass for any leakage; if
any, find out the causes of the leakage and repair it; if necessary, re-install the front windshield.

b. If there is a leakage in the vehicle, apply the glass adhesive after the water is dried.

c. Remove the adhesive tape.

12. Install the inner roof (see “Chapter BW Body - Inner and Outer Trims - Roof Guard,

Replacement”)

13. Install A pillar guard (see “Chapter BW Body - Inner and Outer trims - Side Guards,

Replacement”)

14. Install the sun visor assembly (refer to “Chapter body-interior & exterior trim-sun visor,

replacement”)

15. Install the wiper assembly (See “Chapter EL Electrical System - Electrical Components - Wipers
and Scrubbers - Wipers, Replacement”)
