IN System description:
The low beam lamp control
DI The battery current flows through the fuse F\L1 of the vehicle frame fuse box to the low beam lamp relay R1
in the instrument panel fuse box2, to provide the power supply current. When the illumination combination
switch is at the low beam lamp position, the pin 18 of the plug-in connector B061 of vehicle body control
EG
module is earthed. The low beam lamp relay R12 coil is powered up to generate magnetic field, making the
contacts closed. After that, the current is output from the pin 87 of the low beam lamp relay R12 and divided
TR into two ways: from the fuse F37 to the pin 2 of the left front combination lamp and flows through the low
beam lamp filament and is earthed at the pin 9. The left front low beam lamp is on; from the fuse F38 to the
AX pin 2 of the left front combination lamp and flows through the low beam lamp filament and is earthed at the
pin 9 is earthed. The right front low beam lamp is on.
Height adjustment of the low beam lamp
FR
When the illumination combination switch is at the low beam lamp position, adjust the head lamp adjusting
switch, the current from the pin 87 of the low beam lamp relay R12 is divided into two ways: one is output
ST
from the fuse F37 to the pin 2 of the head lamp adjusting switch B012 and the pin 6 of the height adjusting
motor B004 of the left front head lamp to apply power supply voltage. The pin 4 of the B004 is earthed. The
BR head lamp adjusting switch signal is sent to the pin 5 of the height adjusting motor B004 of the left front head
lamp. The head lamp height adjusting motor moves the reflection plate into the suitable position so that the
height of the left side low beam lamp is changed; another one is output from fuse F38 to the pin 6 of the
BW
height adjusting motor B070 of the right front head lamp to apply power supply voltage. The pin 4 of the
B070 is earthed. The head lamp adjusting switch signal is sent to the pin 5 of the height adjusting motor B070
EL
of the right front head lamp. The head lamp height adjusting motor moves the reflection plate into the suitable
position so that the height of the right side low beam lamp is changed.
Control of the high beam lamp
When the illumination combination switch is put at the high beam lamp position, the pin 16 of the connector
B061 of the vehicle body control module is earthed. The coil of the high beam lamp relay R14 in the
instrument panel fuse box is powered up and magnetic field is generated to close the contacts. After the
contact is closed, the current goes out from Pin 87 of high beam relay R14 and divides in two ways: going
from the output of fuse F25 to Pin 3 of left front combination lamp, then going through the low beam lamp
filament and grounding from Pin 9. The left high beam and low beam lamp work. From the output of fuse F26
to Pin 3 of right front combination, ground Pin 9 after going through the dipped headlight filament. The right
front dipped headlight works.
Overtaking distance lamp control
When the illumination combination switch is put into the overtaking position, the pin 6 and pin 1 of the
illumination combination switch B034 are activated to be earthed. The high beam lamp relay R06 coil is
powered up and the magnetic field is generated to close the contacts. After the contact is closed, the current
goes out from Pin 87 of high beam relay R16 and divides in two ways: going from the output of fuse F25 to
Pin 3 of left front combination lamp, then going through the low beam lamp filament and grounding from Pin
9. The left high beam and low beam lamp work. From the output of fuse F26 to Pin 3 of right front
combination, ground Pin 9 after going through the dipped headlight filament. The right front dipped
headlight works.
