EG - 154 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

Oil sump tank
Change
1. Remove drain plug and drain engine oil (see "Chapter EG Engine Section - Engine - Lubrication
System - Engine Oil, Replacement")

2. Dismount the oil sump

a. Disassemble the fixing bolts on the lower end of the
conduit of the oil gauge.

b. Disassemble the fixing bolts of the oil sump tank and
remove the oil sump tank assembly.

c. Check whether the gasket of the oil sump tank is
damaged, if damaged, it is necessary to replace the gasket
of the oil sump tank.

3. Install the oil sump

a. Install the gasket of the oil sump tank to the installation
position.
