EG - 184 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

Expansion tank and expansion drum

Change
1. Flip over the cab
2. Discharge the coolant

3. Remove the expansion tank

a. Disconnect the connector of the coolant level alarm
switch.

b. Disassemble the hose hoop and disconnect the degassing
hoses of the engine and the radiator connecting with the
expansion tank.

c. Disassemble the hose hoop and disconnect the filling
hose of the expansion tank.

d. Disassemble the hose hoop and remove the degassing
hose from the radiator.

e. Cut the cable tie and remove the degassing hose of the
radiator.
