f. Gently pull out the push rod, and remove the limit ball

and limit spring of push rod.
Caution DI

Because the push rods, limit balls, limit springs on both
sides are different, mark the mounting position and place EG
in accordance with the marking for easy installation.

g. Use a chisel to remove the dowel pin of shift lever. AX
Caution

Pins should be pulled out from the inside to prevent FR
internal damage.

h. Rotate the shift lever and slowly pull it out. Remove
the shift knob and spring during the pull-out process. BW
Caution
Mark installation angle of the shift lever and shift EL
knob for easy installation.

i. Turn and unplug the breather plug and check if the
breather plug is clogged.
Caution

Clogged breather plug can cause excessive pressure
inside the transmission, which can result in
transmission leakage.

4 disassemble the upper cover of shifter control mechanism
a. Remove the reverse switch and remove the steel ball.
Caution
Because the threads of reverse switch are coated with
thread locking glue, it needs to be removed slowly to
avoid damaging the bolt and the screw hole.
