b. Disassemble Interlock plug and remove interlock steel
ball (one).
Caution

Because the plug threads are coated with thread
locking glue, it needs to be removed slowly to avoid
damaging the bolt and the screw hole.

c. Remove the hexagonal cone plug of the 5th and 6th
gear shift knob and fork.
Warning
Pay special attention when removing the hexagonal
cone plug Due to the hexagon cone plug is locked at
three points during installation, the starting torque is
larger. Use the torque wrench to remove slowly to

prevent the damage of hexagon.
Caution
The removal method for the following conical hex

plug is the same.

d. Remove the interlock pin of the 5th and 6th gear fork
shaft, and remove the gear shift knob and fork of the 5th
and 6th in turn.
Caution

• Remove the fork shaft by gently punching it in from
the inside to the outside and punch out the plug.

• Mark the direction of the fork for easy installation.

e. Remove the interlock steel balls (two) between the 5th
and 6th gear fork shaft and the 3rd and 4th gear fork
shaft.
